5 Minute Chili? That's what the woman said - 5 minute chili!

Our friend Juli submitted this great recipe.  If you are like a lot of folks today, you simply don't have time to cook great meals all the time.  So what do you do?  Resort to fast food? Let's hope not?  Eat left-overs?  Uh, sometimes maybe - but not every day!

There is a compromise! Yay for compromises!

Juli's 5 Minute Chili recipe actually, really can be whipped up in about five minutes! It's pretty much a simple warm up dish that you can make when the kids are rushing you to get them off to hockey practice or your girlfriends are on the way to pick you up for a shopping trip! Seriously, this recipe sounds great for a very quick meal.

Give it a try!

5 Minute Chili

Ingredients

1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1 can pinto beans, drained
1 (4 oz) can chilies (or jalapenos)
3 - 4 c. bottled salsa

Method

Combine beans, salsa, and chilies. Simmer 10 minutes to an hour.

Serve with corn chips, cheese, and sour cream to garnish if desired
