Crockpot Stuffing

The holiday season is fast approaching. This crockpot stuffing recipe is just right for Thanksgiving, Christmas or really any time! It is a terrific, tasty stuffing that's a snap to make.  Get it prepped, put it in the slow cooker or crockpot and let it go! When you are ready to serve this delicious stuffing you simply have to spoon it out of the crockpot and into a serving dish and watch your guests devour it! Crockpot stuffing - it's that good!

Crockpot Stuffing recipe:

Ingredients

12-14 cups dried bread cubes (buy two loaves of 'stuffing bread' or just plain white or wheat bread, cut into cubes, and put out on trays to dry overnight)
1 cup butter
1 cup onion
1 cup celery
4-5 cups vegetable broth
1 tsp pepper
1-3 tsp sage (depending on your tastes)
1 tsp salt
6 dried apricots, chopped

Method


Dry bread overnight. sautee onion and celery in butter until soft.

Mix together with bread cubes, broth, pepper, sage, salt and apricots.

Coat sides of crockpot/slow cooker with butter and pour in dressing.

Cook 1 hour on high then 4 hours on low.
